Erik 18 days |
On friday we got an appointment with the Swedish Consulate for applying for Swedish Citizenship for Erik.

On our way to the consulate in Bandra |

We spotted a wedding car aswell :) |
I can proudly report that our consul is a very professional and nice madam who speaks english language on a very high level. She received our papers and according to her, everything looked good. Our documents should be in New Delhi on Monday for approval by Swedish diplomates. Thereafter they will be passed on to Swedish municipalities. We can expect to receive a call from her in 10-14 days. A passport can then be issued immediately, it takes less than 1 hour according to Consul lady. When this is done, we should be ready to visit the FRRO for exit visa for our little miracle guy.
Today, it was time for a new check-up with dr. Bijal at the Hiranandani Hospital. Erik has gained 250g in 10 days which is a satisfactory weight progress. He is almost 4kg now! Dr. said I'm the only one she has met who has been able to breastfeed 100% with positive result. I hope my milk supply will increase along with Erik's appetite so that he can be totally on breastmilk also in the future.

After two busy days, we are now looking forward to a rather silent and sunny sunday at the pool. We are enjoying our apartment and the Lakeside Chalet very much. The hotel staff is wonderful and everybody loves Jennifer. She is very happy to take a little walk with our waiters, maybe get a sandalwood bindi at their beautiful little Ganesha altar.

At the R city mall, Jennifer loves that car :) |
Have a great weekend, all! We miss you a lot but we don't miss the ugly winter you've got in Sweden. Mumbai sun rules! :)
So glad the WHOLE family is having a blast! Cheers to a speedy exit!
