today I standed in front of my colleagues and told them about our road of surrogacy and our pregnancy. I am usually not at all uncomfortable when speaking in front of people but this really made me nervous. I had a little plan about what to say but I had to shorten my announcement significantly due to tears in my eyes. It was really emotional for me. I know that not everybody think surrogacy is the right thing to do and I was so scared that any of my colleagues would react negatively. Instead, I saw 30 persons listening to me with tears in their eyes, too. I got so many warm hugs and congratulations afterwards.
