Oh, how wonderful, beautiful and lovely she is, our N! We had a longed for Skype session yesterday. N seemed so happy and laughed really a lot - especially because Jennifer laughed and "talked" to her so much. It was quite obvious that Jennifer recognized N and was happy to see her again.
N is happily back at the SI surrogate home and carefully monitored for her blood pressure. She says our little one is going wild when she is about to sleep at nights. And our baby bump sure is fantastic! I wanted to take a screenshot of her showing her belly for us but I didn't know how to do :( Hopefully they will take some belly photos for us soon! N is very photogenic so they should really have many photo sessions with her, if you ask for my opinion :)
I really tried to ask N if there is anything special she and her children like and wish as a gift. She refused to answer more than that she is not so much into jewelleries and bangles and stuff - just like me! I'm about to finish a self-made gift these days, after 3 months of handicraft. I hope she will like it. But what more could we give to her? Money seems so boring and besides, I don't like the cash-as-a-gift-idea. We pay her already and giving her something should be giving something with a meaning. Any ideas - please comment!
Here, the autumn shows it's moody side. One moment it's sunny, an hour later it could be raining. Tree leaves are becoming red and yellow, falling down more and more each day. Nights are also rather cold nowdays - maybe 3 degrees of Celcius or so. Usually autumn makes me a little sad but this year I really don't care. I'm glad that each week passing by makes our little Viking stronger, heavier and more ready to meet us. I so hope he or she can stay in for 10+ weeks.
What more? Well, I have prepared our Indian visa appliances yesterday. I then realized we need some fresh passport-sized photos of Jennifer to be able to get the visas. So right now our passports are still here on hold, waiting to be sent.
We now have both the infant car seat, carrycot, newborn clothes, a Tri-Cotti baby carrier ready to be packed. But I still need to buy diapers and some other stuff. I hope I'm given the time needed for that...Please!
Little Viking, please stay in and grow! We are longing for you very much but we want you to be big and ready when you arrive. And one more thing - you will have the best big sister!
So glad everything is going well. I can't think what to send either. If you come up with some good ideas please post them!
