Anu the night nurse

I'm working nighttime right now, hence I'm not always able to sleep at nights, even at 3 AM, like now. Instead, I feel really eager to write that I spoke to dr. Yash yesterday, again (bless her for being there for us!). And I'm so glad for the news I've got about our precious N and baby.
Today we are 23weeks and 6 days. Dr. Yash had spoken to both N and dr. Soni yesterday. N is feeling good, longing to get discharged from the hospital and missing her children who are by hospital rules not allowed to visit her at the ward. I really feel for her and hope everything continues as good as dr. Soni reported to dr. Yash. Namely, N's blood pressure is well stabilized now and the Amniotic Fluid Index (AFI) is remarkably better aswell. On the ultrasound,  placenta looks undamaged from the high blood pressure and I'm sure it is only because of dr. Yash's good caution. It is truly a sign of how fantastic care she and dr. Anita Soni take of our N. They control as much as a human possibly can in this.

If everything continues well, N will be discharged sometimes at the end of next week. I got no AFI value but if I'm lucky, the ultrasound result will be uploaded on Monday already. I can't explain how happy I was to hear all this. It is still to early to plan for possible delivery week but at least we are not talking about 32nd week at the moment, since N's health situation has stabilized so well. Dr. Yash guesses somewhere between 34-36th week, which is so much better than 32. Each day that our little one can stay in the uterus is worth so much.
I so long for a Skype session with N. I want to see our baby bump again - it has been a while, since she has been to the hospital for so long. She must have grown a lot! I must try to take a screenshot of her belly :) And we definitely have to sing some more for our baby.

On the Swedish Surrogacy Forum, there has been a sudden increase of surrogacy births and I'm so glad to read all the news from fresh parents. Congratulations to you all, guys! Many of the babies are SI babies aswell and some of you I even have supported a little along the path. And many more babies are to come, I'm sure! Helping others is something I really love and my dear hubby has seen me sitting long hours, writing replies to those who ask for advice or need references about SI. The fantastic thing about helping is that you always get it back some other time in life. You harvest what you sow, as we say in Estonia.
Time to say... wait for it.... :)
Grow baby, GROW! 10-12 more weeks, please!
