Worried...

Today we got the news about our sweet N being admitted to the Hiranandani hospital again. The ultrasound made yesterday showed decreasing amounts of amniotic fluid,  AFI is 9. Even though it is not alarmingly low yet, we most certainly don't want it to get any lower. This problem is probably due to N's pregnancy induced hypertention. Until now, it has well under control with the help of medication, but obviously, it still affects her and our baby. The rest of the scan report hasn't arrived yet so we don't know any more about our little Viking than that the doppler was good. Hopefully all the organs are in place and our baby is doing well.

I called dr. Yash (bless her for being such a resource for us, always so kind and honest) who said that at the moment, there is no big reason for being very worried. N and our baby are under highly professional medical attention and will be treated with fluids and medications. But she also told us to be prepared for early delivery somewhere between 32-34 weeks since she believes that N might develop preeclampsia. This means we will need to be in Mumbai at the end of November already!

Totally worried, I started to make plans for when to apply for our visa's etc. We will probably need some preemie clothing and stuff. And what about my nursing plans? Help! - I really must hurry up with my treatment so that I can pump for the baby. I must get in touch with all the authorities ASAP so we have the paperwork prepared. Oh!

Please, say a prayer for us!
