...our four-legged family members aswell. Indeed, we have quite a few of them since we both love animals. :)
First one to arrive to our home was our rabbit, Maya. She is 7 years old now and has been such a funny little bunny. She has lived outdoors almoust all her life and seems to love it. She also has a very special contact with Jennifer who adores Maya aswell. Here she is!
After Maya, Oskar, our Sacred Birma, arrived. As Agne has grown up with cats, he was keen on having one. I have always been a "dog person" but Oskar totally put a spell on me, when I saw him first time. He came to us as a 1,5 years old youngster, from another family who couldn't keep him due to allergies. Now he is 8 years old, lazy and occasionally crazy. He is such a personality and a master of funny poses :)

One sunny day in July 2005 Agne and I were about to drive to a lake nearby. Outside our apartment building was a lady with a great dog. We asked her whether we could pet her dog. She told us that she har brought her through a web announce the day before. Now, since her cat didn't accept the dog, she was planning to sell the dog to someone new. We thought this was a little hasty descision and suggested that we could bring the dog along with us to swim while the lady could find her cat and think through what she wants. Shortly after we arrived to the lake, the lady called me and asked if we are going to buy the dog. Other ways she was going to put up a new web announce. Well, after a short thinking, we thought we might try to rescue Bessie. Weeks thereafter we learned that we were her 5th(!) owners during her 2,5 years of existence. Poor dog!
Today, Bessie is 8,5 years old and a calm senior. We are so happy to have her, allthough we really didn't plan to get a dog when she picked us.

Not her best posé but.. isn't she beautiful? Bessie is a German and Caucasian shepherd mix. |

Bessie loves snow - rolling in it, eating it, everything with it. |
After moving into our house, Oskar found his new home to be to big for him. He was walking around, mewing and seemed to long for a friend. We started to look for a buddy for him and found Jöns (I know, it's a funny name). He was exactly 1year old when he came to us, also due to the previous family's health issue. Now he's a big 3-year old Ragdoll. He's favourite sleeping place is Jennifers changing table. Most of the time he is adorable but sometimes he annoys Oskar by being the more playful little brother :)
