30 weeks, 6 days and ticking! Me and Jennifer had a wonderful Skype session with N yesterday. Do I have to say she looks great?! Of course she does. She is beautiful and so is our baby bump. Blood pressure is reported to be well under control and N feels good, too. The only thing she complained about today was our little Vikings habit to start boxing tournaments as soon as N tries to sleep at night. Hence she tries to sleep as often as she can - lucky her, she has time for that! I remember how it felt, this midnight uterus refurnishing :)
This time I dared to ask N how she feels about giving the baby to us. N seems to be very well prepared and completely in peace with the baby being handed over to us when her mission has come to its end. "It's not my baby", she said, "it's yours"! She is longing for us to come and I love that she spontaneously asked when we will arrive. (N is quite shy). I wish I had known the answer! It's a pity it's so expensive to stay in Mumbai. Otherwise we would probably consider to travel a couple of weeks earlier and just enjoy our last weeks "alone" with Jennifer. Since the paperwork will take approximately 5 weeks after our little Viking is born, our budget just can't take to many extra days. Nevertheless, we will try to be there 1 week before delivery in order to make all necessary preparations. And most importantly, to see N, our baby bump and the whole team Surrogacy India, of course! We really long to meet everybody :)
I now have 8 working days left within ca 2 weeks before I'm oficially on vacation and ready-to-leave. Agne will continue to work as long as he can. On the other hand, he is not on pumping duty either, which I am since yesterday. I'm following Lenore Goldfarb's protocol and I SO hope it will turn out well for me.
Last but not the least, I want to say to my fellow bloggers and friends (without blogs aswell) that I'm very, very glad to hear and read about your babies, pregnancies and trips to India! My fingers are crossed for you!
Congrats on the 30 weeks and I completely understand about wanting to be there and the financial part of that. Grow baby grow and it will not be long now! Best to you.
