Oh, what a nice morning this has been! We had a Skype session with N. Along with dr. Manisha she greeted us and looked absolutely fabolous. Her blood pressure is within normal limits and she feels good. She is still a little shy but seems more and more relaxed during our Skype sessions as she is laughing more often and answers to our questions with longer meanings, too. I absolutely love N and I'm sure that if we had a common language, we would be good friends, giggling together. She seems so warm and caring, always positive and in peace with herself. We are so lucky to have her as our surrogate!!! I'm sure that her optimistic character affects our little viking in the most positive way. N told us that she can feel the baby's movement every day now. Her baby bump is beautiful and growing well. On thursday it's time for THE scan (18 week malformation ultrasound). Please, keep your fingers crossed for good news!
Agne and I had planned to sing a couple of songs for N and our little viking (who should be able to hear us now). We tried to choose music that might be known in India aswell, hence we picked two John Denver songs: "Country Roads" and "Annie's Song". Agne told N that even though that song is known as "Annie's song", it is "N's song" from now on. <3
As we were singing, dr. Yash appeared on our screen. It was SO nice to see her, beautiful in white. A little while later Heena came to say hi aswell, she is a sunshine and was such a great company during my egg-pickup. Dr. Manisha said there was more "audience" hiding in the background. Both me and Agne felt it was fun to sing together again, especially as it turned out as such a success.
Tomorrow we are going to visit Agne's best friends family. They have a son who is only a couple of months younger than Jenni and now they have got a brand new little baby boy - Jennifer's got a new bonus cousine :) I'm a little curious about how Jennifer will react on the baby. It will also give us a chance to explain to her that she is soon going to have a little sibbling aswell. I'm trying to tell her that N has our baby in her belly and we are going to meet them after Christmas. But I really think it is way to abstract. Hopefully she will recognize N and know there is a baby involved. It is going to be a HUGE surprise for Jenni that we are going to get that baby and keep him/her aswell. I know though that she is going to be the best big sister ever!
